Join us for the American Cancer Society’s 20th annual Huntsville Hope Gala! This signature event plays a vital role in our mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Our Summer Soiree event has grown alongside the incredible support of our community. This year, we grow into our new name (the Huntsville Hope Gala), and we HOPE it continues to raise more awareness and vital funds in the fight against cancer!
The evening features a live and silent auction, a wine pull, a local gift card grab, and so much more! This special night also honors exceptional community leaders whose dedication and positive impact are transforming North Alabama. Nominated by local residents for their integrity and leadership, these honorees inspire us all.
Funds raised at the Huntsville Hope Gala support essential services such as critical patient care, the Hope Lodge, transportation to treatment, cancer research, and education for North Alabama residents. We HOPE you join us for this unforgettable evening on August 9th!
The American Cancer Society provides information and resources to help patients and their loved ones manage through cancer treatment and recovery, and to help with the emotional support they need. They also work to remove barriers that stand between the patient and lifesaving treatment. For many patients with cancer, transportation challenges can create barriers to receive the treatment they need. Many people need daily or weekly treatment, often for several months. Family and friends may help, but they may not always have the time or resources to provide every ride. The American Cancer Society is proud to provide transportation assistance to those in need, by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
In 2022 alone, the American Cancer Society provided more than 323,000 rides to more than 35,000 patients in need through transportation programs.
